I think it is a good idea to start with the video interviews questions while preparing online questionnaire.
But shouldn’t we focus on closed ended questions only ? Otherwise we would have to translate all opened ended answers which would take a lot of time ( each partner 40 questionnaires done x 5 age categories).

In my opinion we should also ask:

Do support the fact the your country is a part of the EU ?

Do you think that Europe should unite more ?

Next thing is, we have to add – as two last questions:

What city are you coming from ? (7)

What age category are you part of ? (5)

So instead of explaining answers (yes. why? no.why?) we could add more answer possibilities, example: Definitely yes, rather yes, no opinion, rather no, definitely no.

Other sugestion: 15-20 questions max. More questions may make people abort fullfiling questionnaire, which is what we don’t want to happen.

    Hi to everyone,

is there a possibility to upload word documents? I think it is easier to work on the questionnaiere if we can add/comment/ etc. directly in the document. Perhaps there is a possibility and my Italian language knowledge is not good enough to find that. 🙂

Time is running and we don´t have that much time for the realizaation after the Christmas holidays. Because of that I suggest to work on the questions in a word document (comments, added aspects etc. can be in a different color). That would make the communication easier.

Besides that, I think we should try to keep the questionnaire simple to evaluate (few open questions).

    Hi to everyone!

I also think that all questions should be closed. We can include at the end an open question: Describe Europe in three words and why? But this last question is for a qualitative analysis, not quantitative.

I propose 15 questions maximum. Of course, include age, sex and city.

It is a great idea to work on a Word document with comments in different colors. If you can not through the web … Google Drive gives the option sharing with all partners a document on the Web, and we can write at the same time.

    Greetings from Talavera

This is what I was able to gather; questions from Evgeni and Nikolay, suggestions from Sema, Idoya and myself 🙂

I still think that we should stay with the closed questions only.

If we want to add/change sth we should hurry up.

The questionnaire is also available on google drive (previous post )

    Greetings from cold Bolesławiec 😀

Questions 2-4 need to have switching option so that answering in a certain way enables/unables answering either question 3 or 4.
This is how it’s usually done in the surveys.

I have already added some contributions on Drive.

Migration question 10 should be asked differently.
“Do you think that Europe’s response to immigration and humanitarian aid is good?”
    That’s a hard question…

    Good morning! 😉

    Good Morning to all experts,

the communication via this plattform is a little bit complicated (no notification about news etc.). Because of that my suggestion is, to communicate the contents of the questionnaire via mail. If you agree my suggestion please mail me: sema.toykan@schwaebisch-gmuend.de and I can generate a list with all experts.

    Other questions/ suggestions:

Beside that we need deadlines to be able to plan the next steps. –> SUGGESTION: In my opinion the questionnaire (english) should be finished in January 15th (considering all holidays and the days off), the rest of that week we can use for the translations and the final versions can be online from 21st of January.

Who generates the questionnaire, who do we mail the final version? How do we handle the different languages? Are there things to consider during preparation?

Hope to hear from you soon.

Greetings from Germany to you all
